Massimo Noli and Nicola Frau are two italian designers that showed their ready to wear collection during Rome Fashion Week. After working individually they joined creating "Quattro Mani" which means Four Hands. They focused on geometry, contrast between colours and fabrics. The result is a good choice of knee lenght dresses, pant suits, sporty parkas and pencil skirts. Lines are clean and there is a wide variety of grosgrain, crepe de chine, poplin, nylon and technonappa. Photocredit Luca Sorrentino. www.quattromanifashionproject.blogspot.com
COLOSSEUM AND JEWELRY
With www.grandtourshopping.com you can discover new designers and jewelry makers. Recently, I discover Cecilia Capuano, a lovely roman lady. She studied fashion and jewelry at European Institute of Design. Her love for fashion generates her passion for jewelry. Here below a gallery of her rings. The brand was established in 2011. The showroom is in a XVI Century convent just a few steps from the Colosseum. She hosts seasonal events showcasing her creations and bespoke jewels. Her style is recognizable in sculptural and one of a kind creations. The metal yields to her will. She admires nature such as butterflies bringing delicacy and audacity. Gold and silver are combined with precious stones with unique results. The showroom is in via del Colosseo 62. Only by appointment
A NEW EMPORIO ARMANI AT FIUMICINO AIRPORT
A new Emporio Armani opened in Terminal 3 at Fiumicino Airport. It is a good new for the roman hub who is not at all the best in Europe. Far from that. The new store opened a couple of weeks ago, it measures about 90 square meters. The choice is excellent: fashion for men, women, sportswear, watches, sunglasses and jewelry. The shop features a polygonal perimeter and has a nice design sinuous and curvilinear.
