The new Vuitton Spirit of Travel

The new Vuitton advertising campaign has been shot in South Africa by one of the greatest photographer in the world: Peter Lindbergh.The campaign was styled by Carine Roitfeld and the starring models are Karen Elson and Edie Campbell.  Lindbergh's comments on the campaign are simple but, believe it or not, extremely easy going which is typical of a Master, as he is. He said: " Working without any layouts or prefixed ideas allowed us to create spontaneous and real situations. The result is charming and natural". If you look a the gallery clicking on the pictures you will figure out. In Rome the flagshipstore is piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina and it is one of the biggest Vuitton in Europe. 

In Rome a new treasure for perfumes

In via di Ripetta 122, Silvera Profumi d'Autore, is a new olfactive space with prestigious italian fragrances such as Eau d'Italie from Le Sirenuse Positano, Laboratorio Olfattivo and Peccato Originale. They also propose international brands: Paul Emilien Haute Parfumerie, Santi Burgas from Barcelona and Antigua Barbearia from Portugal. When you enter in this lovely store you will have a wonderful and perfumed experience. Definitly a place to discover

The best swimming pool in Rome

One of my favourite spot in Rome, especially in May and June, is the swimming area of the Rome Cavalieri. This five stars hotel is part of the Waldorf Astoria Group. I love it because they have a great view and they offer two separates pools: one for children and one for adults. If you go there, during the week (Monday through Friday), you can lie on the sun for 45 euros. When I'm there for lunch, I always ask for the classic club sandwich but you can have burgers with french fries. For drinks I suggest a strawberry Daiquiri or a Mediterranean breeze based on vodka, ananas, lime, banana and granatina. Enjoy!
