Soft colours such as pale pink or light blue are part of this Gucci new palette. The cruise collection will be soon available all around the world, in Rome it willl be hosted in via Condotti. The creative director, Frida Giannini has also worked with the artist Kris Knight. Together they elaborate the Flora pattern with soft flowers. You can recognize it on some day dresses in silk, shorts, trousers and on cotton shirts. The fil rouge of the Cruise collection is a trompe l'oeil effect. Elegant and chic.

Paula Cademartori, a great bag designer
There is a new talent in the world of accessories: Paula Cademartori. In Rome you can find her bags and clutches in two boutiques: Gente and Bagheera. Born and raised in Brasil, She moved to Italy (the country of her father’s family) where She studied at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni. Afterwards She took a Master at the SDA Bocconi where She learned the management side of fashion industry. She then worked in the style office of Versace and, in 2010, started her own collection. Each bag is conceived as a design object. She uses a colourful palette, metal buckles, sophisticated geometries and combined textures. I love her work.
