One of my best discover while I was in Paris for the fashion week was Paco Rabanne. The new appointed designer, Julien Dosséna, is a french rising star. He used to be an assistant of Nicolas Ghesquière in Balenciaga. He works a lot on mixing masculine and feminine silhouette. He loves technological fabrics and has a light palette. He also likes to combine sportswear and evening outfits. In Italy you can get Paco Rabanne in Milano in Corso Como 10 or on yoox.com.
Emporio Armani has a new soft advertising campaign
Giorgio Armani likes to discover new talents. He asked the photographer Boo George to shoot his new advertising campaign for Emporio Armani. Pictures were taken in Ireland in Dollymount Strand. The light and clothes are very soft. Models have impossible names but we try to keep them in mine: Amra Cerkezovic, Benthe De Vries, Alex Wilms and Matt Trethe. Most of the pictures in www.grandtourshopping.com are also published in the most important fashion magazines worldwide such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
ROMAN JEWELS TO DISCOVER
Very recently I discovered a little treasure. Maresci Gioielli. They work in the pure roman tradition using antique techniques from the Nineteen century. Not only. Maresci proposes also roman jewels that Agrippina Empress would havve love. As you can see in the earrings. The necklace is more in the italian classical tradition. The prices are very reasonable because Maresci does not work only with gold but also with silver. They are located in the Salaria area, in via Basento 90. I will definilty take my clients there.
