Christmas with Veruschka

A great present for Christmas can be the coffee table book by the photographer Johnny Moncada : " From Vera to Veruschka" published by Rizzoli International. You can get it either on www.rizzoliusa.com or visiting the exhibition in Rome at the Macro in via Nizza 138. The exhibition will start the 27th of November and will last the 11th of January. You will have the opportunity to discover 43 pictures from one of the greatest roman fashion photographer who passed away a couple of years ago. Johnny Moncada simply discovered Veruschka and, as he was a great man, he never said it too loudly.

Bottega Veneta an example of real Made in Italy

RIALTO SHOULDER BAG

One of the best shopping experience in Rome is to go to the Bottega Veneta boutique in piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina. The brand is now proposing a new handbag called Rialto for Fall-Winter 2014. This alluring new style, while offered in an array of meticulously handcrafted versions that are rich in color, material and technique. Tomas Maier, the creative director, has been studying all the details : broad piping outlining its shape and padded border along its flap. We love the Brunito finished chain linked to a leather strap. The horizontal closure that runs centrally across the front panel, recalling the Rialto bridge in Venice. A true example of Made in Italy
