I recently discovered an elegant beauty salon in via di Santa Costanza 7/B off via Nomentana. Not exactly in the center of Rome but it is worth the "trip". The salon offers a large choice of Aveda Products (a division of Estee Lauder) for hair and body. Aveda is known for his natural products and Nardi is one of the few salons in Rome that are able to give a good overview of Aveda shampoos, conditioners, massage oils etc.... Apparently a lot of actors and singers come here such as Margherita Buy, Myriam Catania, Marco Mengoni. A new good roman address to try. www.giorgiornardi.it

A VIRTUAL CONCIERGE
I love the concept of Quintessenstially Lifestyle, an exclusive concierge service, anywhere in the World. Not only a baby sitter last minute or picking up your dry cleaning. That would be too easy. Also front row opera seatings, football match tickets, restaurant bookings and a lot of "capricci". They have now a new Wedding Planner service in Italy. To get a membership you need to spend at least 1600 euros per year. For more information www.quintessentially.com
