Pedro Lourenço for LA PERLA

An interesting moment in Milano Fashion week was the LA PERLA presentation. Soon the collection will be shown also in the roman boutique where I will take my clients for an exclusive shopping tour. Probably due to "Sex and the City " and other fashion movies and TV serials, especially the american ladies are crazy for this glorious italian lingerie brand. LA PERLA is more modern than ever because it has appointed a new designer, Pedro Lourenço, a talented brasilian guy who is only 25 years old. His new collection is sexy, simple and curvy. He was inspired by Oscar Niemeyer, the greatest archistar. The palette is classic : black, white and nude.

Herb Ritts in Milano

During the Milano Fashion week,  I did a lot of scouting on italian brands. I need to select what to show to my clients in Rome when we wil go shopping on exclusive tours around the city. Nevertheless I had some times for leisure and I wentto see the Herb Ritts exhibition in Palazzo della Ragione. It will last the 5th of June. More than 100 pictures in Black and White. LA JOLIE FILLE, A NEW BRAND IN ROME

Few weeks ago, I went to scout for my exclusive shopping in Rome, the Rione Monti. I asked a friend of mine, Angelica who lives in the area, to take me around. She introduced me to a great talented designer who works on his own: Michele Capalbo. His brand is called La jolie fille. His atelier is in via degli Zingari 47. He proposes great long dresses, modern and cool, no wonder as he worked for Roberto Cavalli, Jean Louis Scherrer and for Chiara Boni.
