ANGELO MARANI, A DESIGNER TO WATCH CAREFULLY

Angelo Marani always shows his collection during Milano Fashion Week. He is a bright italian entrepreneur that I interviewed few years ago. His spring-summer collection is very fresh and inspired to Sardenia. I love the flower dresses, romantic and feminine. He made them in chiffon and silk. The flowers are hand painted, the embroideries are nice and precious.

PERSONAL SHOPPER THE MOVIE

Calling a movie"Personal Shopper" can be a positive thing because the word become viral. That is more or less my feeling after the boos but also the applauses at the Première of Olivier Assayas new movie "Personal Shopper". It is the story of Maureen (Kirsten Stewart), a 27 american girl who is working in Paris as a personal shopper for a European celebrity. She goes to fashion houses picking up outfits for the actress. Maureen is not happy, She waits for her twin Lewis. Her brother died recently and the hole story is about medium and ghosts. For the red carpet Stewart looked like a Swan in Chanel, in the cast also Riley Keough in a green dress from Louis Vuitton.

GIADA A BRAND TO WATCH CAREFULLY

In february 2015, Gabriele Colangelo, an italian talented designer, who is 40 years old,  has been appointed as Creative Director of Giada. Colangelo won in 2008 the Vogue Who's on Next concourse. He has his own brand and, the Giada nominee, is the result of his growing success. Giada has a flagshipstore in Milano in via Montenapoleone. It has been founded in 2001 by Rosanna Daolio and it is owned since 2011 by the chinese group Redstone. I like it for the precision of cuts, the choose of fabrics and the contemporary esthaetic. The palette is very natural, from beige to grey.
