In Rome shopping with Damiani for the clean water project in Africa

Last week I met in Rome Giorgio Damiani and the former japanese football player Hidetoshi Nakata. I was with a group of journalists and we were invited around 12 AM in the boutique of via Condotti for a press conference. Damiani and Nakata introduce us to their new collection calledMetropolitan Dream. It has a very light style and it is wearable by either men and women. Part of the revenues will go to the Drop in the Bucket, an international organisation which construct water wells in African countries especially in Uganda and South Sudan.

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IN ROME WITH A BUCKET BAG

Rome is expecting a lot of visitors for Christmas and the shopping tours are becoming more exclusive. Let's check the new boutiques. One of it is called Casata Deréves with its handmade bags. It s located in via Belsiana 101b. My favourite model is the bucket bag and it is proposed in different sizes, material and colours. You can even have it custom made and it will be shipped to your home. The boutique is quite small and extremely elegant.

In Saint Peter's a new lighting coming from Germany

St. Peter's Square radiates in new LED light thanks to the german Osram lighting expertise. Following refurbishment, modern and energy-efficient outdoor LED luminaires provide a unique lighting experience and also save energy of 70 percent. I went to see it and it is great. The project concept by Direzione dei Servizi Tecnici della Città del Vaticano was realised with support from Osram, the reference partner for global lighting expertise. Cooperation with Servizi Tecnici was also fundamental for the success of the Sistine Chapel project, carried out in 2014.
