This Summer my clients Karen and Michael came with me to Battistoni, the most elegant shop in Rome for Men's wear. While we were looking for suits, the former italian President Giorgio Napolitano came in the store by himself. He was looking for some shirts he ordered. He has a great personality and my University Professor, Paolo Spriano, was a great friend of him. We talked about him for at least ten minutes. In a moment of relax while you are shopping in Rome, keep in mind one of the most glamourous exhibition on American actors and movie directors ever made in Italy. It is showing at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in via Nazionale up to the 17th of September. A fantastic collection of photos owned by John Kobal, a journalist who collected them all his life. We start from Charlie Chaplin going throught Cary Grant, Marlene Dietrich, Alfred Hitchcock, Grace Kelly, Joan Crawford, Humphrey Bogart.
