Last Saturday I was invited in Rome, to the vernissage of JonOne, an american artist who is much more than a writer. He was born in New York, Harlem, his parents are from the Domenican Republic but He lives in Paris working for big brands such as Lacoste, Guerlain, Fondation Cartier and Perrier. It is possible to visit, and buy his works up to April 14th in Trastevere in Palazzo Velli, piazza di Sant'Egidio 10. Below his action painting done that evening. Don't miss it.
Smart shopping tour in Rome with American Vintage
Even if the name seems yankee, American Vintage is a french brand. Extremely well done and not too expensive. I took an australian lady few monthes ago to the roman boutique in via Frattina 30 as She was looking for a silk green scarf. We found it for 120 euros. Below the new Spring Summer advertising campaign signed by the photographer Julia Champeau. It was shot in Tenenerife. Very joyful and cool.
Shopping in H&M in Rome with the See Now-Buy Now collection
Last week in Paris the Sweden company H&M showed a new collection available in Rome in via del Corso 422. It is called the H&M Studio and it was inspired to Japan. The mood is casual with pure colours. Very wearable and fresh. An ideal solution for a fun shopping moment without spending a fortune.
