FENDI’s is ready to animate the 2018 Holiday Season with FENDIRAMA, the newest cross-category Capsule Collection featuring colourful gift ideas for a colour invasion. In Rome the collection will be in Largo Goldoni, at the Flagship store. It is a square in the middle of Via del Corso, in front of via Condotti. In the middle, you will notice a new astonishing sculpture made by the artist, Giuseppe Pennone with Carrara marble. The statue represents a tree and it is sponsored by Fendi for the city of Rome.

The Maison’s DNA, which perfectly combines luxury and daring creativity with playfulness and irony, is reinterpreted through a special selection of accessories, all characterized by an exclusive and vibrant colour palette – including yellow, bluette, cherry red, pink and white – which is peppered by the signature FF logo in an appealing embossed version.

From bags to eyewear, the FENDIRAMA Capsule Collection includes modern and fun accessories together with FENDI’s latest ready-to-wear looks. Rockoko sneakers in technical knit inject humour and happiness to every style, while the Help Bag and fur pompon bag charms can be mixed on the latest By The Way and Mon Trésor bags. Fashion jewelry and the Runaway sunglasses are all about logo, whereas the small leathergoods line offers a full array of models in different sizes: belt bags, wallets on chain, flat purses and wallets.

CHANEL IN ROME IS ALWAYS A GREAT SPOT FOR SHOPPING

Tonight we receive the new press release on the cruise collection of Chanel. In Rome the store is located in piazza di Spagna but there is also another boutique in via del Babuino, not very far one from the other one. For Christmas we bet they will be a lot of queue because the brand is loved by italian and international women all over the world. We love these new baby Jane shoes that you can were on almost any situation.

On the bridge of the La Pausa liner last May, Karl Lagerfeld imagined a collection inspired by cruise ships. The silhouette is happy, thought out for travelling comfortably and with style, just as Gabrielle Chanel did. Onboard the Flying Cloud, the yacht belonging to the Duke of Westminster, the designer liked to wear simple outfits, fine knitwear, pleated skirts and low-heeled shoes fastened with a strap. In block colour or two-tone, Mademoiselle would also wear them ashore, most often with light knits and mid-length skirts.

These shoes feature regularly in Karl Lagerfeld’s Ready-to-Wear and Haute Couture collections, each time in new previously unseen forms: precious or understated, with a single or double strap, flat or with a heel, according to the designer’s imagination.

For the 2018/19 Cruise collection, Karl Lagerfeld reinvents them as "children’s party shoes" to punctuate the looks of the collection. Imagined in silver goatskin, in white calfskin or embellished with sequins, and perched on a little heel, this new version brings elegance and femininity to a shoe long associated with children’s wear. With their rounded toe, they follow in the line of the ballerina, the emblematic CHANEL shoe. The designer has also created a casual-chic sportswear version with a rubber sneaker sole.

The CHANEL Cruise collection 2018/19 will be in boutiques from November 2018.

A Paradise for kids shopping in Rome

Petit Bateau, the famous french company for kids clothes opened last week a big new store in via Frattina 25 in Rome. The shop takes all the block up to via della Vite and has 180 square meters. You can get culotte, Tshirts, windbreakers, shorts, bermuda, little dresses and minicoats. The prices are affordable and the quality is great. The Tshirts never change shape, the cotton is supergood. A great solution for Christmas shopping too.

The company was found in 1893 by Pierre Valton. His son Etienne, back in 1918, had the idea to cut the traditional boxers for kids and create the first easy going white culotte famous all over the world. In more than one century a lot of famous designers worked for Petit Bateau. Among them Christian Lacroix, Jean Charles de Castelbajac, Tsumori Chisato, Didier Ludot, Cèdric Charlier and Maison Kitsuné. The company also won the Innovation Award at Exposition Universelle in 1937. Today about 3000 people are employed in Petit Bateau worldwide, half of them in France, 400 stores and 4300 places where you can find the brand. You can find shops, for example, in London, Milano, New York, Tokyo and Shangai and e-shop. The siege is in Troyes.

The roman store was designed by the french Cut Architectures studio. All in steel and wood like a hut in the house. Part of the shop is dedicated to games with a lovely playground with books , funny mirrors and digital high tech and low tech situations. At the opening they were kids of all ages, the barbapapa and two girls on the big hills. It was like a fashion luna park.
