The actress Amy Adams is playing Sydney Prosser, a seductive artist who is forced to work with the FBI. The new movie is "American Hustle" directed by David O. Russel. Starring also Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale. The story takes place in the 70's. Costume Designer Michael Wilkinson says: "When I dressed Amy Adams, Gucci was a natural choice. When the director asked for a special handbag for a detailed closed up, I was drawn straight away to the Python Bamboo Lady Lock". Ferragamo's Christmas Jungle
If you walk in via Condotti you will notice wonderful windows at the Ferragamo's boutique. The florentine brand has the jungle fever. The inspiration comes from the label's rich archive of silk foulards. Ferragamo offers a new Animal capsule collection of small leather goods such as Ipad and Iphone covers, purses, card holders. The new window concept helps create the the mood with tiger, zebra, flamingo, giraffe. For the first time the label presents a video, the stars are the animals of the Christmas jungle. Enjoy!
Actress and Vintage Girl
In Italy everybody says that young people are depressed. Most of them don't want to study or work. They zap in front of TV and their best friend is the livingroom sofa. Ilaria Dragone, 25 years old, is exactly the opposite. She does a lot of things such as working as an actress for theatre and TV. She is beautiful and looks like Sarah Jessica Parker. About a year ago She found a way to open a boutique in the Magnagrecia market, near piazza San Giovanni. Her space, called Vintage Show is, specialized on 50's and 70's dresses, but you can find also bijoux, shoes, Mary Poppins' style bags and purses. Plus lovely stripes shirts that Paul Mc Cartney would love. She works a lot with costume designers. The Vintage Show is opened half day and never on Thursday. She scouts her dresses all around Europe, especially in Arezzo (Tuscany) and in Amsterdam. She has a facebook wall called vintage show. The fashion magazine GIOIA interviewed her.
