The most interesting part of the Fashion week in Rome (in fact only few days) is the Fashion competition Who's on Next ? It started 12 years ago and was invented by Franca Sozzani, the glorious Fashion Editor of Vogue Italia. Here I am with two good friends of mine: Anna Maria Greco, journalist for Il Giornale and Bianca Lami who works for the Koefia Academy, one of the most presigious fashion schoolin Rome.We were waiting for the winners. This year it was Nicola Brognano. He used to work for Giambattista Valli and Dolce & Gabbana. In my next post I will present it to you. Ciao
LA PERLA AND THE BIKINI 70TH ANNIVERSARY
This is the Shopping beachwear season in Rome. It is also the time of fashion anniversaries. The bikini was invented in 1946 and La Perla wants to celebrate its 70th birthday. For the next season (if you go in Florida or Maldives in December) there is a a new model called the Wired Bikini. It sculptural with combinations of lingerie and plastic. Very modern and feminine. Since the 1960's La Perla, with her founder Ada Masott,i designed bathing suits. Here below the new models.
THE MOSCHINO FRESH COLLECTION
In Rome I should visit more the Moschino Boutique in via del Babuino 156. The Shoppingthere can be really fun because of the english designer Jeremy Scott. He renewed completely the brand and made it frescher and cool. Here below the RESORT Collection. He showed it in Los Angeles, his home at the moment. Great colours, top-bustier, bathing suits in crochet and flare pants. I just love it.
