Last saturday I was on a shopping tour in Rome with two american ladies. We stopped by Nia, two boutiques in via Vittoria (just off the spanish steps). In one of them there was a lovely embroidered jacket from Antonio Marras, one of the greatest italian talent. My clients were extremely impressed. Here below his new fall winter collection based on: layered skirts with fringes, brocade dresses, velvelt flowers, silk gowns. His muse, for this particular collection, is Adèle H, the daughter of Victor Hugo. A romantic and disturbed girl madly in lovely with British Army officer Albert Pinson. She followed him in Nova Scotia, Barbados and Sardenia. No happy ending as it has to be in real romantic story as Goethe taught us in " The Sorrows of young Werther".
