In Rome The Winter collection of Max Mara, an intelligent shopping solution

In Rome the most important Max Mara flagship store is located in the most elegant street : Via Condotti. I often step by with my clients of grandtourshopping.com and I also ago to the Max and Co boutique located at the end of the street in the corner with Largo Goldoni. Max and Co is less expensive and more focused on young women.

Globally I love this italian group, a symbol of Made in Italy. They solve so many problems. For a coat, a dress, a pair of pants. I also go  to Marina Rinaldi the Max Mara brand dedicated to the curvy women. They are a fantastic solution. In a way I think Sportmax, which is more focused on design and up to date fashion is more difficult to adapt even though the clothes are interesting and you can feel and notice the research. Max Mara and Sportmax shows in Milano during the fashion week. Marina Rinaldi generally organizes a presentation in their showroom but globally my relationship with them is more focused on the product in boutiques that, as said, I often visit with or without clients.

Here below a picture of Gigi Hadid in the Max Mara Winter collection. The message is that is time for women to feel strong. You can find overcoats, animal prints, slick black leather, english tweeds, checks, pencil skirts or stirrups pants. They are teddy bear coats but also military maxis. A strange combination of Western look and conceptual style. Now the Max Mara woman demands success on her own terms and dresses accordingly.

VERSUS VERSACE AND A SPECIAL FEELING WITH ROME

Versus Versace is the young line of Versace. Very easy to wear. In Rome there are two boutiques that sell this nice brand. One is located in Piazza di Spagna 12 and the other one, called Versace Collection, is in via Veneto 104. I don't like so much to go shopping in that area but, sometimes, when I have clients from www.grandtourshopping.com to pick up in Eden Hotel or Excelsior I can easily make a pit stop in via Veneto's store.

The new fall winter 2018 campaign is based on a particular graphic design and is focused on black and white. The check mood is the key part of the Versus image for the new season. The campaign has been shot by the photographer Hanna Moon with a bunch of londonian models. The stylist of the campaign is Allegra Versace, the beloved niece of Gianni. The Art Director is Jamie Reid .

The style is relaxed and young. You have the feeling of a new generation extremely high tech and cool at the same time, they don't really follow a dress code or a particular season, they are trying to change the rules of the every day life. This is what it is all about. We don't know if they can make it but the Dream is part of every young generation, since the end of the Eighteen Century. From Goethe to Lord Byron.

Camomilla opens his first Concept store in Rome

Exclusive shopping in Rome has a new spot. Our clients from www.grandtourshopping.com can now discover or re-discover Camomilla. A fashion italian brand. It has 230 stores in Italy and about one milion clients. It has been founded 40 years ago. The new concept store opened in Via del Corso 482, a strategic street for shopping in Rome. Recently via del Corso has been voted on the top high 5 italian streets.

The space is spread on 240 square meters on three floors. In marble, steel and white lacqued wood. Camomilla is starting a new commercial strategy based on top locations and travel retail. They have stores also in Rome in other areas such as Via Appia. In Venice you can find a boutique at the airport.

The store opened in Rome the 2nd of August and clients were invited to come and discover the new store in Via del Corso. The brand is famous for its easy fashion, very dynamic and various with dresses for every situation: from work to parties or cocktails. The prices are totally average and affordable. I will definitly take my clients there as I have a couple of tours to make in August. Everyone else should book in September for a new autumn shopping season.
